Why we exist
A continent that contributes a small share of global emissions is now being asked to prove its numbers to buyers who have already decided what to assume in the absence of proof. The tools to answer are priced for companies ten times the size, built on factors from other grids, and useless at the one thing that matters — getting data out of suppliers who have never been asked before.
Baseline is the infrastructure layer for that. Not a consultancy engagement that ends in a PDF, and not a dashboard that makes an estimate look official. A system of record for a number you will have to defend.
How we work
We are opinionated about data quality. Baseline will tell you when a figure is an estimate rather than presenting it with the same confidence as a meter reading. That makes some dashboards look worse in month one. It is also the only version of the number that holds up under a verifier.
