Who we are
Baseline Carbon Ltd is a company registered in Ghana, operating from Accra. For questions about this policy or about data we hold, write to info@baselineglobal.co.
What we collect
Through the forms on this site we collect only what you type into them: your name, company, work email address, the reason you are getting in touch, and any message you write. The briefings signup collects an email address alone.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. If we enable website analytics, we will use a provider that does not track individuals across sites or store personal identifiers, and we will say so here.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to send the briefings you asked for, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our lawful basis is your consent for the briefings, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries for everything else. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Who else sees it
Two service providers process data on our behalf: our website host, which serves the site and runs the form, and our email provider, which delivers the messages. Both are bound to process the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
Our providers operate servers outside Ghana, so your information may be processed in other countries under contractual protections. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we have an active or prospective relationship with you, and briefings subscriptions until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and under the GDPR where it applies, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@baselineglobal.co and we will respond within thirty days.
To stop receiving briefings, reply to any of them with the word stop. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU or UK.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from a third-party provider, which receives your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
